Governing Bodies and Affiliations

The Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) denomination.  Locally, the congregation is a part of the National Capital Presbytery, along with 110 other congregations located around the metropolitain area of Washington, D.C.  The Synod of the Mid-Atlantic joins all of the Presbyterian congregations in the states of Baltimore, Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina.
